Home BB Use Policy

The Southwest Florida PC Users Group operates a NEW Free Technical Support Bulletin Board where subscribers can post e-mail messages on any computer related subject.  You can share information with other subscribers on the list, post questions about computer problems and receive expert advice on possible solutions. 

Please click on BB Use Policy (above) and read the SWFPCUG Technical Support Bulletin Board Policies (and tips) prior to subscribing. 

1. Click Here to Subscribe .

2. Click on Join this group on the right edge of the page.  

 

3. If you don't have a Google account, click on Create an account.  You do not have to sign up for a Gmail account but you must have a Google account to use Google Groups.  The swfpcug-bb is a Google Group.

 

 

 

4.  Now you can subscribe to Google Groups using your email address and a password of you chose for Google Groups.   Click Sign In.

 

 

 

 

5.  After you sign in, select an email option according to the way you want to receive postings in your inbox.  Choose a nickname and click Join this group.

6. Changes can be made at any time after you successfully subscribe by selecting "Edit my membership" on the Home page.  You can choose from 4 ways how you want to receive posted messages.  You can temporarily stop mail from going to your inbox by selecting No Mail.  And you can unsubscribe.

7. To send questions to be BB, email swfpcug-bb@googlegroups.com.

8.  You can read all messages and Discussions (messages grouped by topic) at http://groups.google.com/group/swfpcug-bb

Please click on the You Asked? We Answer!  button above to see our answers to Frequently Asked Questions on our Bulletin Board. That is a good place to go when you need a quick answer.
