The Journals are labeled, sorted, bundled and bagged at the Board meeting on the first Thursday of the month. The 600 pounds of mail is delivered to the Post Office Bulk Mail Facility near SW Florida International Airport early on Friday morning. Bulk mail is low priority at the PO. Bags can pile up at area post offices for days. Bulk mail sent to northern addresses can take up to four weeks for delivery.
We especially urge our Snowbird members to consider our mailing schedule when changing their address. Remember that the PO will not hold or forward bulk mail. If you are not at the address on the label, or if you have a HOLD or FORWARD order on your mail, it will be thrown out.
A solution to the uncertainty of bulk mail delivery is to pay for First

Click on it. This will bring up a screen which, at the very top, contains a horizontal bar highlighted in light blue and titled "Swfpcug-general -General Computer Help Sponsored by the SWFPCUG". Below that you will find another horizontal bar highlighted in tan ( or would you say "beige"?) and titled "About Swfpcug-general". The last line in that section says, in part, "...Swfpcug - general Archives...". Click on those words. Then you will get another screen that asks you to type in your address (meaning email address) and password*. Do both, and then click on "Let me in". Then you will get another screen which contains a table, with column headings, titled, from left to right, "Archive", "View By", and "Downloadable version".

Under "Forgotten Your Password?" click on "Email My Password To Me". Your password will be emailed to you within a few minutes. Those who manage the bulletin board send details of your subscription to you on or about the first of each month. The password is not changed unless you change it.
