Try the following to allow attachments to be read in Outlook Express. Note will NOT work in Outlook.
1. open Outlook Express
2. click on tools
3. click on options
4. click on security tab
5. uncheck (click) on the box that says "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

Where can I find information about my mail incoming and outgoing servers?
You may have these stored on your computer in the program you have been using for E-mail.
If that is Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook, here's what to do:
1) Open Outlook Express or MS Outlook.
2) Click the Tools menu and click on Accounts.
3) Select your E-mail account and click on the Properties button.
4) Under account properties, click on the Servers tab.
Write down what is entered for "Incoming mail (POP3)" and "Outgoing mail (SMTP)."

Issue : Adobe acrobat files as attachments to Outlook Messages
When you double-click an Adobe PDF file, the Adobe Download Manager window appears, and the Download Manager returns the error "The download cannot continue. Error parsing voucher."
Solution: Associate PDF files with an Adobe Acrobat product.
To associate a PDF file with an Acrobat product (such as Acrobat 6.0 or Adobe Reader):
1. In Windows Explorer, do one of the following:
-- Right-click a PDF file (Windows XP, 2000)
-- Shift+right-click a PDF file (Windows NT, Me)
-- Click a PDF file to select it, and then Shift+right-click the file (Windows 98)
2. From the pop-up menu, choose Open With (Windows 2000, NT, Me, 98), or choose Open With > Choose Program (Windows XP).
3. In the Open With dialog box, select an Acrobat product from the list.
4. Select Always Use This Program to Open This Type of File (Windows XP) or Always Use This Program to Open Files of This Type (Windows 2000, NT, Me, 98).
5. Click OK.

What is the best way to set up e-mail to forward messages and their attachments to "undisclosed recipients"?
here's what to do:
> 1) In Outlook Express, select the message and click the forward
> button at the top of the window. A new message window will open.
> 2) Click on the To icon in the new message window. The Select
> Recipients dialog will open.
> 3) From the list of recipients, select those you want to forward
> the message to and click BCC.
> 4) When you are finished, click OK. This will return you to the
> message window.
> 5) When you are ready to send the forwarded message, click Send.
